DRUG CRIMES
PROPERTY CRIMES
PERSONAL CRIMES

In Alabama, people can be arrested and charged with either a felony or misdemeanor crime or both.  Criminal law deals with the state of mind of the alleged accused.  Felony charges are the more serious crimes, while misdemeanors are crimes which carry a much less severe penalty if convicted.

The job of the prosecutor is to represent the state and push hard to convict you of the alleged misconduct.

You have an enormous amount of rights as the accused which are protected by the U.S. and Alabama Constitutions.  You have every right to defend yourself.  The state or municipal court must prove you are guilty "beyond a reasonable doubt" without any help from you.

If you have been arrested and charged with violation of any criminal law, please contact my office so I can begin helping you defend yourself.

Please use the email form above to submit information describing your legal issue. Include all necessary contact information and someone from my office will contact you as soon as possible. All communication is strictly confidential.
